Below is a collection of guides and curriculum for use in the classroom and during your visit to the Science Center.
Star Wheel
The motion of the stars marks the passage of time during the night. As Earth turns on its axis, the stars appear to rise in the east and set in the west—just as the Sun and Moon do. This means that you’ll see different stars in the sky at different times of night. Use this Star Wheel to chart the constellations from your own backyard!
Thinking Caps
Make your own hat to wear and take home! Learn about different parts of the brain and what they do by looking closely at your brain hat.
Xeriscaping
Can you find a way to make a sustainable garden? Garden management can reduce landscaping water use by as much as 30%! Using clever arrangements to reduce or even eliminate the need for irrigation is called Xeriscaping. Try your hand at Xeriscaping!
